Bugtoaster - Freeware program which captures Windows Crash data and forwards it to the bugtoaster people who track what causes Windows to crash and figure out how to fix the crashes. Cool site for the stats only.  Note, must have IE 4.+, NE6 or Opera to view the site. FREE or Pay

Enfish Onespace - Very Cool disk/internet indexing program.  This program indexes everything on your system (even PDF and ZIP files) allowing you to find and view anything regardless of which program it was created in.  AND IT IS FREE.

Drag and File and Zip and View.. - Replacement for Windows Explorer.  Huge improvement, integrates FTP, Zip view, Zipping/Unzipping, encrypt/decrypt, sync dirs, tag mult files etc.  This should be in any serious computer users toolbox.  Cost is $45.

gnutella - Gnutella is a fully-distributed information-sharing technology. Loosely translated, it is what puts the power of information-sharing back into your hands. Unlike Napster, gnutella is peer to peer, NO central server, no tracking, pure anomominity as the internet should be.  FREE 

Xteq Systems X-Setup is a so-called "hacker" or "tweaker" program. It allows you to change settings that are normally hidden deeply in some configuration-files (like the registry) fast and easily.
